WELCOME...... Solarice Wellness Centre + Spa is an integrated, holistic wellness centre offering a range of empowering and pampering treatments at affordable prices. Nestled in the stunning mountain community of Whistler, British Columbia. Solarice was created by Dr. Amy Rein, a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Lisa Skerritt, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Brenda Beattie and Victor Morin who are both Registered Massage Therapists. THE SOLARICE PHILOSOPHY At Solarice we believe in a holistic approach to wellness by combining Western science and ancient Eastern therapies to ensure an integrative treatment. Healing and alternative therapies include psychotherapy, traditional Chinese medicine, yoga, Thai massage and nutritional consultation. Traditional spa therapies offered at Solarice include massage and other forms of bodywork, hot stone massage, body exfoliation, steam therapy, body wraps, facials, skin care and esthetic services. Guests can chose between pampering spa options or an intensive holistic program to treat various concerns and maladies. We provide an array of carefully designed treatment packages or can customize an integrative treatment program. Our mission is to provide nurturing, comprehensive treatments to calm the senses, rejuvenate the body and revitalize the spirit. THE SOLARICE FAMILY Our team of professional and experienced therapists is trained in a range of disciplines, from sport massage to neuromuscular therapy, acupuncture to personal counselling. At Solarice, we offer guests the finest treatments available in order to heal and inspire their lives. Also unique to Solarice is our beautiful, sunlit yoga studio where guests may participate in classes or receive private instruction in yoga, tai chi, qi gong or pilates. We offer daily classes at all levels. Drop ins are welcome and we provide mats, bolsters, straps and blankets. THE SOLARICE ENVIRONMENT Our new facility was designed by False Creek Design of Vancouver in conjunction with the Solarice team to ensure the development of a very calming, nurturing and healing environment. Solarice's interior design incorporates feng shui to ensure proper flow of energy. The natural elements are present throughout the centre with lots of wood, stone, water and natural sunlight. The colours wheat and sage are dominant throughout the facility to create a nurturing and soothing environment At the front of Solarice is our lounge and wellness goods boutique full of natural soaps, aromatherapy supplies, and skin & body care products. Treatment rooms are large and airy, with a pleasant atmosphere created by the use of specifically designed music and fragrant aromas that relax body rhythms. For clients experiencing multiple treatments and packages Solarice provides a very comfortable relaxation room for quiet reflective moments between treatments or to enjoy light snacks and lunches. Situated 1.5 hours north of Vancouver, Whistler is world renowned for its spectacular scenery and recreational activities. Winter features some of the finest skiing and snowboarding on both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. With over 7,000 acres of skiable terrain and the best vertical in North America it's incomparable. Summer activities include four championship golf courses, epic mountain biking, spectacular hiking, canoeing and horseback riding.
